I did not enjoy the movie like some people I know did.  I thought it was a lot more immature than The Lord of the Rings trilogy.  Gollen really got on my fucking nerves this time.  Most of the characters lacked any depth to them.  They movie would had been better if Peter Jackson said "Cut!" and then give it the Blazing Saddles effect where it becomes so far fetched and yet entertaining that it's acceptable that he requests the less important characters to go to Starbucks to get their more important characters their coffee.  I ended up rating it G squared for being twice as gay solely on the premise if you're an adult and ended up liking it.  It's meant for pre-puberty adolescents.  Maybe Peter Jackson just makes better movies when he's fat.  That may be part of the problem.  Return of the King was by far his best and it focused on Gandolf, Legolas, Frodo and battle scenes which were awesome. You know it's a good movie when Sarumen who was a magician.  He was the evil character with the white hair who battled Gandolf in the previous movie.  He was not missed and the movie didn't suffer without him in it when you watch Return of the King because it delivered a power message throughout the movie which is fighting scenes are entertaining as hell, cost more, worth more, more battle, less talk.  It did make make 3 hours feel like 2.  In comparison to the The Hobbit,  I made it through three quarters of the movie and walked out right after the scene where two mountains where fighting one another.

There was another movie which came out at the same time and caused confusion for box office for ticket sales since it had a similar name.  It was called "The Habet", pronounced Ha-bet.  Have you seen it? It's better than Slumdog Millionaire.  It's very well written and within the first 5 minutes you get sucked into the story line. It's all about Habib's wife, Habet and the struggles insults she endured and overcame in India and in this country.  In the end, she opens a successful convenience store in America, without the help of Habib and her family and franchised it from there.  It's entertaining from beginning to end.  It's a movie to remember not only for the moving experience itself, but if you saw it in the theaters you got a large coffee voucher redeemable at 7-11.
